Immanuel Mifsud

Immanuel Mifsud (Malta, 1967) has published seven poetry collections, six collections of short stories, a book of short stories for children and a collection of lullabies.

In 2010 he published Fl-Isem tal-Missier (u tal-Iben) [In the Name of the Father (and of the Son)], a poetical narrative portraying his relationship to his father and to his son. Poems by Mifsud have been published in various American and European anthologies, most recently in Les Poètes de la Méditerranée, (ed by Eglal Errera, Culturesfrance / Gallimard).

Immanuel Mifsud lectures in Maltese modern poetry and literary theory at the University of Malta.
