Albert Gatt is a cognitive scientist whose research focuses on the computational and psychological processes underlying language processing. He lectures in Linguistics and Computer Science at the University of Malta.

He has translated several works of poetry and prose (primarily from Maltese into English) by authors such as Clare Azzopardi, Immanuel Mifsud, Adrian Grima and Antoine Cassar.
