Five Excellent Books in Irish![</i> Torfinn[1]1](../../../files/legacy/Torfinn%5b1%5d10106.jpg?1144879200)
Transcript presents here books by authors who are not profiled individually in this issue. Each of the five books represents original and dynamic writing with a wide appeal. Three of the books, Súil le Breith, Cuaifeach mo Lon Dubh Bhuí and Torfinn represent Irish writing in the 1980s. An Dochtúir Áthas is a seminal work which dates to 1994. Gaineamh Séidte represents verse composition rooted in the literary tradition of Connemara where Irish is still strong.
